The success of corporate events and conferences depends on a variety of elements, both large and small, that are crucial to running a flawless event. It is important that every detail is planned and executed properly due to the large volume of guests that will be attending your corporate conferences. Turning towards a temporary staffing agency (ahem, Tigris!) to provide brand ambassadors and project management to assist with these types of events will take a load off your shoulders and ensure success. Depending on role that needs to be filled, either a brand ambassadors and/or event management will be a professional addition to your event. You’ll end up wondering how you ever survived without them!

Brand Ambassadors – Professional, Intelligent Individuals for Corporate Conferences and Conferences

Tigris is in the midst of providing teams of events staff in Edmonton, Calgary, Halifax and Montreal for a series of conferences for Cisco Connect in association with Starshot. At each conference, our brand ambassadors will be responsible for running and maintaining an attendee registration table, sponsor table, and  lead retrieval scanner table. Duties include completing registration, distributing gift bags, and explaining how the scanners work to each guest. The staff are also responsible for event set up and post event tear down.

The addition of these brand ambassadors is extremely crucial to the organization of the event. Due to the large number of attendees, it is difficult to gauge the flow of traffic and at exactly what time everyone will arrive. The majority of the time, people do tend to trickle in late. Late guests will be flustered and eager to quickly pass through registration. This is where our brand ambassadors come in. They are professionally trained prior to the event and know how to efficiently run registration without irritating guests. They will also be prepared with information regarding the conference and able to answer any and all questions. Avoid lines and prevent your guests from waiting in a massive registration line with professional, eager brand ambassadors!

Along with this conference, Tigris is also supporting Starshot with another series of conferences for Intuit APD. The first two activations took place in Mississauga and Ottawa Nov. 13-18. The tour continues throughout Calgary and Vancouver the second week of December.

These examples aside, Tigris has been providing brand ambassadors for corporate events and conferences for several years. From 2008 to 2012, Tigris regularly supplied Equicom with poised and professional brand ambassadors to host corporate events and conferences for Sprott Wealth, Sprott Asset Management, HBC and Centric Health. One of the conferences for HBC included 7 events in Toronto, Montreal, Ottawa, Vancouver, Edmonton, Calgary, and New York  City in 2012. The special events staff assisted with registration, table seating, room monitors and distributing giveaways.

One of our first conferences for Equicom dates all the way back to spring 2008. Tigris supplied  events staff to manage a series of conferences for Sprott Assest Management in 8 cities across Canada. Our brand ambassadors registered and seated guests, handed out programmes and distributed gift bags following the seminar.
