Tigris teamed up with eOne films to execute an outdoor promotion in Calgary and Vancouver to promote the new film, The Best of Me on Oct. 9th. This romance film is based off a Nicholas Spark’s novel, and we all know that man knows how to create a tear jerker! For this outdoor marketing campaign, our brand ambassadors were required to hand out branded tissues to the target demographic of the film. Upon distribution of the branded tissues, our brand ambassadors would inform the men and women about the movie and encourage them to see it with their girlfriends or make a date night out of it.
In each city, our events staff handed out 2,500 branded tissues and spoke with thousands of people! In Vancouver, the outdoor marketing promotion took place around a popular university campus, and in Calgary the promotion ran throughout 4th Street Shopping, one of Calgary’s busiest shopping districts. The Best of Me is in theaters Oct. 17th – if you didn’t grab any branded tissues, be sure to bring some of your own!
