For those of us who enjoy the hustle and bustle of the holiday shopping crowd however, now is the time to hit the mall (and by now, we meant 7am this morning)! It was almost impossible to miss the Pop-Up closet with the latest styles from EXPRESS.

Along with browsing through the store’s latest collection, shoppers were able to participate in a text-to-win contest for instant prizing. Our promotional models also provided key messaging about the clothing and details regarding the stores exclusive Black Friday promotion. This marketing promotion with brand ambassadors was exceptional because it incorporated 4 main factors: creative branding, a custom built display, digital technology (the text-to-win contest and TV’s displaying the brand) and engagement (shoppers were encouraged to touch, feel and even try on items right there at the booth). This promotion drove new clientele to the retail store and increased traffic significantly over the 5 day duration.

EXPRESS’ pop-up closet continues it’s tour as it travels to Bramalea City Centre from today through Nov. 29. Consumers love activations where they can participate and engage with the promotional models. It is far more effective than shoving a coupon at someone!

Hosting Marketing Promotions with Brand Ambassadors for BC’s Biggest Mall – Metropolis at Metrotown!

Toronto’s not the only place we’re hosting indoor marketing promotions with brand ambassadors! If you’re in B.C, you’ve got to head to Metropolis at Metrotown for Black Friday. With nearly 400 stores and services, Metropolis at Metrotown is British Columbia’s largest shopping centre. Not only will consumers have over 100 participating stores to choose from, they will also be able to enter contests to win prizes upwards of $20,000. With deals like that, the mall is bound to be extremely busy!

That’s why Ivanhoe Cambridge teamed up with Tigris, requesting 24 brand ambassadors to assist them in hosting this enormous event and ensure that the shopping experience was enjoyable for every guest. Our promotional staff were spread out and designated specific locations to meet, greet, engage and answer questions from shoppers from Nov. 28-30. On Black Friday, our events staff are onsite from 6am until 9pm and mall hours Saturday and Sunday! With Black Friday getting a little crazy, the extra support from the team was a perfect addition.
