Staffing Solutions for the Canadian International Auto Show

Bring Customers to your Brand with Successful Staffing Solutions

Wouldn’t you agree that temporary staffing solutions are an important aspect of an event marketing strategy?

Targeting an array of car enthusiasts, car shows are designed to create a social environment and a highly anticipated event. It’s an opportunity to reflect on a variety of models that searching on the internet would take hours to do. While a large benefit to customers, there is no questioning the benefits for industry dealers.

Auto shows create an influx of potential customers in the weeks following. It is also a great opportunity for automobile manufacturers and local dealers to connect with consumers and show off what they’ve been working on for the past year. And, in order to stay on customers top of mind during the decision making process, exhibitors must dazzle guests with eye-catching displays, big prize giveaways, wildly creative exhibits and most importantly, top tier staffing solutions. Using the right staffing solutions can be advantageous in the attempt to please existing customers and attract new ones.

That being said, we have to ask. Are your staffing solutions in tact for this year’s Canadian International Auto Show?

With 200 anticipated exhibitors, consumers can compare the pro’s and con’s of any car – ranging from economy to high end luxury – on the same showroom floor. No other environment lends itself better than this ultimate automotive experience. With new models, debuts, concept cars and out of production classics, this year’s Auto Exotica will offer a wide range of clean fuel-efficient vehicles in an Eco-Drive Showcase that you won’t want to miss.

Notable Tigris Staffing Solutions

Since 2007, Tigris has helped a number of organizations with staffing solutions to create a buzz during and after the tradeshow.

At last year’s Canadian International Auto Show, Tigris teamed up with luxury event management company Candice & Alison to execute a unique publicity stunt. We secured a team of 15 brunette male & female promotional models, all 5 foot 8 inches or taller to build excitement, anticipation and allure for the reveal of MINI’s exclusive “Goodwood” car at the private press day of the Toronto auto show. Only 1,000 of these cars were made and less than 25 distributed in Canada. The models rehearsed a choreographed routine so the reveal of the car was sexy, mysterious – and of course, flawless. Photos from the reveal appeared in national newspapers the next day!

For three consecutive years, Tigris was contracted by Rogers to host their booths at the Canadian International Auto Show. From 2008 through 2010, Tigris booked a team of sexy & savvy sales staff to host 3 Rogers booths over the course of 10 day show. The events staff promoted a variety of handsets and offers among the general public and were to refer guests to the Rogers representatives to facilitate sales. Our team contributed to 300 sales in 2008, 285 cable/wireless activations in 2009 and over 350 in 2010. That’s close to 1,000 sales spanned a total of 30 days (10 days pe show)

Going back a little further, we booked a team of lead generating “go-getter’s” for Kia – in association with Blu Communications – in 2007. Our staffing solutions included a trio of events staff to engage consumers and collect leads. During just two weekends, our team obtained over 1,000 sales leads.

Staffing solutions are crucial for high profile tradeshows and events such as the Canadian International Auto Show. If you’re looking for a team to help you create a buzz this coming year, give us a call at 647-286-9392 and we can discuss our staffing solutions with you.
