A product promotion is a great way to raise awareness and drive sales – both measurable and successful objective of the national program we rolled out May 23-30.

Did you know that “six out of 10 Canadians get about one hour less than the six to eight hours of sleep experts say most adults need in order to waken feeling refreshed and to perform optimally through the day”?  This was found through an exclusive poll conducted for CBC News by Leger Marketing.  The study also found that 58 per cent of Canadians claimed to find themselves often feeling tired throughout the day, which is a prominent sign of the Canadian populations sleep deficiency.

It’s likely that you too are among this percentile, but are you doing anything about it?

Although gaining more hours in a day is not possible, maintaining a healthy intake of essential nutrients is manageable and certainly does play an integral role in overall wellness to help offset some fatigue and manage stress, as well as sleep patterns.  Tigris Personnel was excited to carry out a product promotion to help spread the word on a great way to achieve this in a simple and affordable way.

Product Promotion for Emergen-C Goes National

Tigris teamed up with top ad agency, Zoom Media, to coordinate venues, logistics, uniforms, management and staffing to both plan and execute a national product promotion for vitamin supplement Emergen-C. The planning spanned 3 months and culminated with teams of event managers and 5 brand ambassadors hitting high volume hot spots in Vancouver, Montreal and Toronto between May 23-30.

Sample packs of the product were shared with target consumers between the ages of 25-34 years old who typically have hectic lifestyles and are consistently on the go.  In return for a sample of Emergen-C, consumers were asked to participate in a short 2 question survey to let us know if they’ve crossed paths with this fantastic product in the past and of course, if they took the opportunity to try it out.

In any case, after giving it a go, consumers will discover the benefits of  Emergen-C which include  energy and immune system support,  electrolyte replenishment, re-hydration, refreshment, and overall good health.  And it doesn’t end there because you can find it in 8 delicious fruit flavors to make it all the more enjoyable.

The results?

Well, the teams of brand ambassadors distributed 14,000 samples in Toronto, 9,000 in Montreal and 7,000 in Vancouver for an impressive total of 30,000 samples distributed during 3 days and 6 shifts!  The goal of the product promotion was to educate consumers, increasing their knowledge and awareness of this convenient, flavorful, and multi-purpose product that can offer valuable benefits to maintaining a healthy mind and body. Life doesn’t wait for anybody to catch up with it – so by taking Emergen-C regularly, it’s “KA-POW” time!
