Only Pro Staffing to Host Canada’s First Baking & Sweets Show!

Did you know that it is not a custom to serve dessert after a meal in Indonesia, unlike in most Western countries? Desserts or any sweet dishes are regarded as a snack, for social functions, or to be eaten simply when you have the desire!

If you’ve got a sweet tooth then I’m sure you’re also not the type to wait for the end of a meal to dig into your favorite dessert.  Sweets are a delicious and satisfying treat that many of us see as a reward and this past weekend from Fri., Sept. 27-Sun., Sept. 29 was the ultimate time to indulge in some of the most mouth watering baked goods and trends from around the world at the Baking and Sweets Show over at the Congress Centre.

This is North America’s first and biggest baking and sweets event and Canadian Tire was a proud sponsor of this incredible show!  Tigris provided Canadian Tire with pro staffing that consisted of four enthusiastic and friendly brand ambassadors plus an amazing team lead to host their booth and promote the show in several different ways, not to mention one incredible grand prize.

The Canadian Tire booth featured a Cake Boss display as well as several of it’s in-house vendors who showcased their top product lines. Not only was there a Cake Boss display but the celebrity master-baker himself  Buddy Valastro was the star guest of the show and Canadian Tire had the honor of hosting him in their booth on Sunday afternoon where only Tigris’ pro staffing could handle crowd control while he engaged in an autograph session with fans.

Now let’s get to the sweetest part of the deal at this show-the prizes!

Canadian Tire gave away a trip to 2 lucky people to visit and tour Carlo’s Bakery in Hoboken, New Jersey.  How did they win?  Simple.  There were 2 ballot boxes placed in Canadian Tire’s exhibit as well as another at outside the main entrance of the show so all they had to do was enter!  In addition to round trip airfare with accommodations, the winners also receive $500 in spending money, $250 in gift card at Canadian Tire and a Cake Boss gift pack.

Needless to say, this was an epic event and our pro staffing ensured it was good time for all you sweet lovers that attended . From meeting celebrities of the baking world to savoring delicious cultural and popular desserts, this show was certainly a treat we hope you had fun being part of as much as Tigris’s brand ambassadors did.
