Niall Horan is an Irish singer and songwriter. He is best known as a member of the boy band One Direction. Currently, Horan has released the singles “This Town” and “Slow Hands” from his debut studio album Flicker, scheduled to be released on Oct. 20. In advance of the launch, an interactive promotional event was executed downtown Toronto Oct. 19.

The objective of the event was to get #NiallTO trending on Twitter, engage media influencers and gets fans to listen to the new album one day early. Fans used an interactive map to find each track off his new album throughout the city. Next, participants took a photo with Tigris brand ambassadors for their chance to win a trip for 2 to see Niall in 2018! Fans increased their changes by listening to multiple tracks and taking additional photos.
Tigris provided 1 brand ambassador per track – a total of 10 staff. The staff managed a Wi-Fi portal with a Niall Horan song. Most importantly, fans were able to securely log in and listen to the song for free. Below are a few participant testimonials:
