Tigris previously assisted with the launch of Facebook at Work at several Canadian Tire head offices on Feb. 1st in Calgary, Toronto, Oakville and Montreal. We were contacted a second time to assist with this unique employee event in St. Catherine’s and Welland on Feb. 17th. Majority of the staff working on Feb. 17th had previously worked the event on Feb. 1st, so they felt extremely comfortable engaging with employees throughout the day.
Facebook at Work is meant to connect employees at all levels. It gives them a new way to collaborate and communicate in a setting most are already comfortable using. Tigris brand ambassadors explained the benefits of Facebook at Work to the employees and assisted them in creating an account. After setting up a profile, employees received a ‘swag’ ticket which they were able to redeem for a wide arrange of items including Facebook cupcakes, selfie sticks and portable battery chargers.
