Throughout the month of March, Tigris worked alongside multiple brands and businesses to establish and increase brand awareness through various techniques, such as product sampling and brand activations. Carat USA & Maven Car Sharing App
Maven is the latest car sharing app, connecting people together in communities around the world. Their brand awareness technique is to incorporate Tigris brand ambassadors at multiple Google events to educate attendees about the Maven car sharing service. It was an enjoyable experience handing out free swag to new Maven members that signed up. Overall, the event was a success with over 300 guest interactions and over a hundred sign-ups! Cora Street Team Sampling
Cora, with the help of Tigris brand ambassadors, woke up the streets of Edmonton with free Cora coffee samples and coupons. For four days, the street team had jet packs filled with coffee to help commuters start their day off right. The street event encouraged consumers to head to the Cora’s for their next breakfast, brunch or lunch. The street team interacted with over 400 people promoting the brand. The Cora sampling event is an excellent example of how street sampling is a strong brand awareness idea!
Narrative PR Nike Air Max Day
Tigris teamed up with Narrative PR and Nike to celebrate Nike Air Max day within Metropolis at Metrotown in Vancouver. To increase brand awareness, Nike created an activation incorporating a “Go Bigger” photo booth. Event staff encouraged shoppers to have their photo taken in the photo booth wearing a pair of giant Nike Air Max 720’s while distributing free swag. Shoppers were encouraged to post their photo on social media using the hashtag: #JustGoBigger. The photo booth component and free swag allowed Nike to successfully promote their brand to current and potential consumers.
Wirkn Brand Awareness Activation
Wirkn connects millennials with shift-based work through a web and mobile employment marketplace. Users create a 30-second video showcasing their personality, charisma, and skills followed by a digital profile. This event is a great example that not all brand awareness ideas have to be elaborate or over the top. Over the course of five days across multiple GTA malls, Wirkn and Tigris staff went store to store activating hiring manager accounts and collecting hiring needs. Just a friendly face with an iPad, staff were able to convert store managers to use the program for their hiring process and improve Wirkn brand awareness.
Rec Media Polident Sampling
To promote the latest Polident product, our team distributed over 30,000 samples at multiple hockey arenas across Ontario. Tigris staff distributed Clean & Refresh Mouthguard Wipes to hockey players and their parents. The brand awareness idea was to drive sales and educate players on the latest technology in mouth guard care. Brand ambassadors were also rocking a branded hat and shirt representing Polident wipes.
