If you live in Toronto, you may have heard about the unique Burt’s Bees art exhibition that was held at the Arta Gallery Feb. 28-Mar.11. The event was kick started with a VIP night on Feb. 27th, where media and beauty bloggers were invited to see the artwork and bid on their favourite pieces. Tigris, in association with BrandFire, planned the special evening as well as the gallery showing that followed.
To create a buzz worthy product launch, Burt’s Bees contacted 10 Canadian artists to create a painting using only Burt’s Bee’s lip products. The pieces were hung on the walls of the Arta Gallery in the distillery district. Guests were able to bid on each piece and all proceeds went to Wildlife Preservation Canada. The gallery showing was open 3pm-8pm each day. Not only were guests able to view the artwork, but receive a free sample from their new line of lipsticks, Shades.
