Have you made your pink shirt promise? Tigris was contacted by Metropolis at Metrotown (Metropolis) to provide Vancouver event staffing services to assist with the in-mall Pink Shirt Promise activation. The Pink Shirt Promise aims to spread positivity ahead of national Pink Shirt Day to stop bullying in its tracks.
Tigris provided a team of brand ambassadors to engage customers on the campaign and explain in detail how they can participate. Shoppers were able to write their pledge to end bullying on a pink post-it note to put on the Post-It Pink Wall between Feb. 17th to 24th. Customers were also able to submit their pledge online. Along with the anti-bullying pledges, shoppers were able to get their photo taken to see their face larger than life on a 70 foot light curtain over the elevators! For each pledge or photo taken, $1 was donated to the CKNW Orphans’ Fund to go towards youth anti-bullying programs.
