Sun Life Financial approached Tigris to provide two events staff to manage a photo activation and social media contest promotion. This promotion was held at the Cirque du Soleil Corteo shows in Montreal, Quebec.
Brand ambassadors were to engage with passersby and to take photos of them with the activation. Additionally, staff were to encourage participants to post to social media with the event hashtag. Most importantly, participants entered for a chance to win the grand prize trip – to see a 2019 Cirque du Soleil show of their choice in Canada! Sounds amazing, doesn’t it?
The event took place within the lobby of the Bell Centre in Montreal prior to, during and after the Cirque du Soleil Corteo performances. The photo stations were positioned in ideal locations including next to a bar and as such, the activations saw a great deal of traffic.
Consumers were ecstatic about the opportunity to have their photos taken and enter for their chance to win the contest grand prize. Tigris staff captured over 1,900 consumer photographs and encouraged approximately 700 people to post their photos to social media using the contest hashtag. Below are a few consumer testimonials:
