Our Mall Promotion staff celebrated My Canada 150 & Fabulous with Grassroots Advertising at Eglinton Square June 30th.
In celebration of Canada 150, Eglinton Square had a large installation for what it means to be Canadian. The installation is called “Canada is ____.” This was set up in the Centre Court a month before Canada Day. Because this is a big milestone for the country, the promotion had to be great!

On June 30th, a VR experience was the main attraction, bringing Canada to life in a 3 Dimensional way. Guests were able to select a custom, thrilling experience including skydiving and skiing. In addition to the VR experience, there was face painting, cupcake giveaways, a DJ and much more!
Onsite, our mall promotional staff were to ensure that guests at the event have a fun, exciting, safe experience that will keep them coming back for more. Everyone was super excited and pumped about Canada 150. Most noteworthy, a social media contest for #Canada150EglintonSquare was managed by the team as well. As a result, the event was trackable on social media.
