Tigris provided event staffing for Toronto Star / Wonderlist at the Taste of Danforth in Toronto Aug.7-9th. Have you heard of Wonderlist? Wonderlist is presented by the Toronto Star newspaper, and is a free premier contest program providing a one of a kind experience to its subscribers with exclusive product offers and over 500 yearly contest opportunities. It offers members access to exclusive contests such as suites at professional sporting events, concert tickets at a private box, exclusive meet and greets with celebrities, passes to movie premiers and amazing deals!
The purpose of our event staffing support was to generate new members for Wonderlist while informing them of the awesome benefits of “being on the list”. Our staff created a fun memorable and entertaining experience by promoting the feature contest and distributing promotional items.
The goal for this event was to engage the crowd by highlighting our “enter to win a trip for 2 to Athens Greece!” contest and the Wonderlist program. We were able to accomplish this because the consumers had to sign up before they could spin the wheel to automatically win a prize as soon as they enter the “win a trip for 2 Athens Greece” contest.
The instant giveaways were: pens, hand sanitizer, free subscription to the Saturday star gift cards and Blue Jays tickets. The grand prize was a free trip to Athens Greece including a 4 night stay at the Ledra Hotel courtesy of Transat. (The winner will be contacted via email on August 18th)
