Tigris has had the opportunity to work with lots of companies from the States over the past year and this event is no exception! Tigris teamed up with FILO Productions to provide teams of athletic brand ambassadors for community based initiatives in St. John’s, Newfoundland Nov. 19-22, Fredericton, New Brunswick Nov. 26-29, and Regina, Dec. 3-6th. For each event, Tigris supplied over 15 athletic brand ambassadors per city who were skilled in basketball and had experience working with children for the events.
The hours were long but our staff were enthusiastic about the work. Many of them had never worked a high profile event and were excited that this opportunity had come to their area. Tigris operates in over 15 markets across Canada, but we have had very few events in these specific cities throughout our 12 years in business. Our largest markets are in Toronto, Ottawa, Montreal, Calgary, Edmonton and Vancouver. We were excited to get our teams in the Maritimes and Prairies working again!
The brand ambassadors were responsible for running basketball drills, face painting, interacting with the youth and playing games. There were mascots and dancers onsite at each event to excite the kids. Everyone was able to receive an autograph from a famous basketball player and the children, along with their parents were extremely pleased with an event of this nature in their city.
