Canadian’s are known for their passion for hockey, and this passion was shown throughout Toronto on Oct. 8th for the Toronto Maple Leaf Home Opener. Celebrations took place in Maple Leaf Square and Yonge-Dundas Square for the NHL Face-Off and Viewing Party. Tigris worked with one of our most reputable clients to provide an outdoor marketing promotion for their brand.
Tigris had 10 Toronto brand ambassadors split between Yonge-Dundas Square and Maple Leaf Square. At each location, our eager brand ambassadors encouraged fans to come to the Canadian tireย tent and participate in an interactive photo booth. This photo booth included a larger than life sized hockey card where fans could pose inside with their choice of hockeyย equipment. Some fans were decked out with sticks, jerseys and helmets! Our energetic brand ambassadors acted as photographers as they snapped photos of fans on their phones for a unique keepsake from the event.
Along with the photo booth activation, our event staff distributed over 3,000 headbands that had crazy blue and white hair sticking out of them. These funky headbands were a huge hit with fans of all ages. Fans were asking for multiple souvenirs to take home to their grandchildren, spouses and friends! The crowd sure looked funky with their blue and white hair, jamming along to the Tragically Hip and country star Tim Hicks. It sure was a night to remember!
