Canadian Tire Event Promotion at Boots and Hearts Aug. 2-4/13

Event Promotion for Canadian Tire

Tigris was excited to team up with Canadian Tire for an engaging event promotion at Boots and Hearts for the 2nd year in a row. Four bubbly brand ambassadors were booked to encourage spectators to enter a twitter photo contest in addition to handing out branded cowboy hats.

Being the biggest country music festival of the summer (and in Canada), Boots and Hearts is a tremendous opportunity for an event promotion. Over the course of the 3 days, 2,000 of branded cowboy hats were distributed compliments of Canadian Tire and several concert go-ers participated in the twitter contest. Under the awning, Canadian Tire also showcased an impressive line-up of Canadian Tire powersports vehicles.

For the purpose of the event promotion on twitter, our brand ambassadors encouraged fans at the festival to:
– sit on a vehicle of their choice
– have a picture taken of them using their smart phone
– follow @CanadianTire on Twitter
– tweet the picture (with #CTPowerSports) to be entered into the contest.

One lucky entrant into the social media event promotion will be awarded with a one of a kind Boots and Hearts / Canadian Tire scooter – drawn today, Wed., Aug. 7. The scooter that will be won was painted by an artist in Montreal and was on display throughout the weekend.

In addition to the contest and giveaways, other entertainment included a cow milking contest to glitter tattoos to pool and even, mini golf!

Boots and Hearts – an Amazing Opportunity for an Event Promotion

Boots and Hearts is the largest country music festival of its kind ever to be hosted on Canadian soil. It is a three-day celebration of music and art where music lovers of all genres can escape from the rigors of daily life, band together with thousands of other country music fans and experience a once-in-a-lifetime event that they will never forget.

The artist line up featured:
FRIDAY: Jason Aldean | Dean Brody | Cassadee Pope | Colt Ford | Parmalee | Autumn Hill | Lindsay Broughton | Washboard Hank | The Heartbroken | Keith & Renee
SATURDAY: Rascal Flatts | The Band Perry | Joe Diffie | Chad Brownlee | David Nail | Kira Isabella | The Stellas | Dance Y’All
SUNDAY: Miranda Lambert | Dierks Bentley | Willie and Jase of Duck Dynasty | Tate Stevens | Aaron Lewis | Jason Blaine | High Valley | Tebey | Melissa Payne | Devin Cuddy | Catfish Willie and the Buckle Busters | Whitney Rose | The Abram Brothers

It was expected that over 25,000 country music fans attended the three day festival – many camping out at the Canadian Motorsports Festival. Now that’s how you take advantage of our Canadian summer!
