1) The One Eighty
Price Range: $45-$50/person
On the 51st floor of the Manulife Centre, you’ll find The One Eighty. The neutral colours and deep woods provide a modern, elegant atmosphere. At 3,000 square feet, the venue hosts seated dinner events, cocktail receptions and more. Take your team out for drinks at this venue and enjoy the unhindered view of Toronto’s city skylines. The view alone will blow away your guests! It’s definitely one of the best places to hold a corporate event.
Popular Events Held at The One Eighty: Maybelline celebrated their 100th anniversary at this venue with supermodel Gigi Hadid and Joe Jonas in 2015. In February 2016, many basketball legends stopped by this luxe venue for the NBA All-Star Weekend Stance Spade Tournament. How cool is that? This is one of the best places to hold a corporate event if you’re interested in the entertainment industry.

2) Loft 404
Just looking at this photo will probably put a smile on your face. Known for their many inspired gatherings, this venue offers several creative spaces, but we just love the West Wing (shown above). The open-concept space includes a private room, which makes it perfect for a cozy, comfortable corporate event or retreat. This sanctuary is extremely accessible, located in the Downtown core, at Adelaide and Richmond. In addition, they provide affordable A/V packages, as well as several meeting packages.

3) Pursuit (obstacle course)
Price Range: $15-$45/guest depending on size of the group.
Sometimes the best places to hold a corporate event involve ladders and ball pits. If you’re looking for a more physical team bonding experience, check out Pursuit. Sometimes, you’ve just got to sweat it out! Located near Liberty Village, this indoor obstacle course allows you to climb, crawl, pull, and run through a fitness-based playground built just for adults. In addition, there’s a giant ball pit to sink yourselves into, which will bring back so many childhood memories! Host an unforgettable team bonding experience that will leave your team breathless and sore, but grinning from ear to ear 🙂 Sometimes the best places to hold a corporate event may also seem like the most unlikely.
Events held at Pursuit: Although not many corporate events have been held at Pursuit, it’s the perfect place for a holiday party or team bonding experience.

4) The Ballroom
Price Range: $1,750-$4,500 (depending on the room and day of week).
Capacity: 250 – 850 (depending on selected room).
When it comes to a fun night out, who doesn’t love 10 pin bowling? The Ballroom offer private bowling alley along with ping pong, pool, and bubble hockey – to name a few of their facilities. Boasting two expansive floors called the Turkey Bar and the Games Room, we suggest booking the Turkey Bar, which has a capacity of 95 guests. You’ll receive 2 semi-private lanes, a private bar and pool tables. They also have an amazing menu for munchies, such as Lobster Guacamole and the Bacon Lover’s Dream Burger. YUM! Once you’ve had your fill of deliciousness, you can then sit back and enjoy the many options for evening entertainment, including live local bands.

5) The Addisons
Price Range: Semi-private and private events vary depending on food, drinks & number of guests attending.
Capacity: 500 (main floor), 400 (patio).
Who can resist a good house party?
The Addisons is a beautifully decorated house in on Wellington Ave. With a patio, foosball table, board games and fully loaded bar, there’s something for everyone at The Addisons. There are 3 rooms, including the kitchen, games room and living room. Host a private Toronto event or semi-private event if you don’t mind mingling with others. The more, the merrier – right?
This venue is not able to host semi-private or private events on Friday and Saturday nights as we are open to the public. Thursday nights can only accommodate semi-private events. Sunday through Wednesday you can book the venue for exclusive use.
Events held at the Addisons: ET Canada’s TIFF Party in 2016.

6) Blue Mountain Resort (retreat)
Price: Varies depending on group activities, number of guests.
Capacity: Choose from more than 900 rooms, suites, condos and mountain homes resort-wide.
Although Blue Mountain Resort isn’t in Toronto (only a 3-hour drive!), this is the perfect destination for an office retreat. Whether you plan to go in the summer or winter, there are plenty of things to do. The resort offers gorgeous hiking trails, skiing mountains, relaxing spas and delicious restaurants. Don’t worry, there’s still space to be productive in one of the many conference rooms onsite. The best places to hold corporate events may be off the beaten path a bit but are totally worth it.

7) St. Anne’s Spa (retreat)

Maybe you need a space to relax and rejuvenate with your team. If so, St. Anne’s is the perfect getaway (less than 2 hours from Toronto). 8) Balzac’s Coffee
Price Range: $2,975+HST (Saturdays) and $2,800+HST (Sunday to Friday).
Capacity: Cocktail style reception is 100 persons.
For the history buffs, Balzac’s venue in the Distillery District is a unique, less traditional spot to host a corporate event. The antique furnished building holds up to 100 people with a large patio overlooking the Distillery Square. It’s perfect for intimate, business events (as well as a popular wedding venue!).
Past Events: Air Transat hosted a corporate event and added their own personal flare to the unique venue. If you do a quick Google search, you’ll find hundreds of gorgeous photos from couples who had their wedding – or wedding photos taken – in this beautiful spot.

9) Artscape Sandbox
Price Range: $2,500
In the heart of the Entertainment District lies the Artscape Sandbox. This venue is perfect for exhibitions, classes, retreats, meetings, and conferences. If you like the idea of customizing a space, this venue is the perfect blank canvas. Impress your clients and potential clients with a presentation or performance here. Registration can easily be operated in the lobby, equipped with a box office and coat check. Artscape Sandbox has a capacity of 200 guests with plenty of underground parking available. The best places to hold corporate events should also be easily accessible. You don’t want guests to be discouraged because they don’t know where to park or figure out how to get there.
10) Stratus Restaurant
Price Range: $800 (Weekday breakfast) – $10,500 (Weekend dinners).
I think you’ll agree that great food matters at every event. Created by executive Chef Martha Wright, Tiger’s Butter Chicken & Status Mushroom Soup are a few favourites at the Stratus. Invite guests for an intimate seated dinner, or opt for a full buy-out on a weekend. The large floor-to-ceiling windows give this cozy, intimate space a great view of the city from the 36th floor of the TD Tower. It’s simply stunning!

11) Bram & Bluma Appel Salon

Libraries can truly be magical. The Bram and Bluma Appel Salon is located the Toronto Reference Library at Yonge & Bloor. This contemporary and versatile venue is perfect for social and corporate events. With natural light, an outdoor terrace, and a full kitchen, this space is the hidden gem you’ve been looking for.

12) Rosehill Venue Lounge

If you prefer a more rustic atmosphere, you should give Rosehill Venue Lounge a try. This space includes exposed brick walls, dark wood details, and plush leather couches. There are 6 flat screen TVs complete with an in-house sound system. This venue holds 300 people standing comfortably, or they can shuffle onto the dance floor and boogie the night away.

13) The Richmond

Are you committed to keeping the Earth green? The Richmond is an environmentally conscious venue that partners with suppliers who will keep your carbon footprint to a minimum. The space is 1600 square feet (main floor + mezzanine), and ideal for 150 people. Located at Richmond (true to the name) and Spadina, the sophisticated space is very easy to find. Events can be wasteful so the Richmond is a refreshing change. It’s not surprise it has made our list of the best places to hold a corporate event.

14) The Fifth Inc
Price Range: Varies depending on number of guests and food served.
The Fifth has several event venues, but Cabin Five is one you won’t forget. A private staircase from an alleyway leads to an old warehouse. Inside, the room resembles a rustic cabin with wood bars and memorabilia. This unique space is perfect for themed events and can be used in combination with their other venues. There are 2 full-service bars and the venue holds 130 guests. Tigris held our company party at The Fifth back in 2011.

Large Scale Events (Comfortable for 100+ Guests)
15) The Uptown Loft
Price Range: $4,500 – $9,700
Capacity: 50-80 guests
This recently renovated space includes modern chic décor with white beaded chandeliers and hardwood floors. Located in Uptown Toronto, the open concept gives you the freedom you need for your specific event. In addition, the venue includes an onsite kitchen, 12 ft. ceilings, is over 3,500 square ft. and optional valet parking! What a great way to convenience your guests.

16) La Maquette

Who doesn’t love a venue with a solarium? This two-story French & Italian-inspired venue includes a beautiful side patio facing Toronto’s Sculpture garden, complete with a piano! It can fit 150 guests standing on the first floor, and 180 standing on the second floor. Guests will be talking about the gorgeous Art Deco building all week! The lasting impression a venue gives your guests is definitely something you should be considering when deciding the best places to hold a corporate event.
Review: “This was the second time I’ve been to La Maquette; both times for private functions where the restaurant was closed and our group had the place to ourselves. Last night it was for a stand up cocktail reception where a small jazz band played as servers walked around with delicious appetizers like duck confit canapes, Asian fresh rolls, shrimp on a stick, bite-sized mini fish and chips, sliders and more. We are so happy that the historical Casa Loma is a special event facility, as well as an attraction. Casa Loma, one of North America’s only castles, is absolutely breathtaking during all seasons. If you’re hosting an even in the summer, you’ll have access to the Glass Pavillion, a fully enclosed space in the gardens (as shown in the photo above).The main floor includes several unique spaces decorated to illuminate the early 1900’s. If you’re really looking to leave a memorable impression on guests (the venue hosts groups up to 550) host your corporate event on one of the three main room floors. During the spring and summer, the gardens are immaculate. Offering indoor and outdoor space to your guests is a huge plus.

18) Solarium/City Bar

This is another renovated space with a gorgeous view of Lake Ontario and the city skyline. The all-glass room includes a folding ceiling, double-sided fireplaces, two patios and an elevator. The venue holds up to 300 sitting and 1,000 standing. The retractable walls allow for customised spaces. Conveniently located next door to Cabana Pool Bar, you can take your event to the pool (if it’s that type of summer party!).
Past Events: Halloween and New Years Eve parties, concerts including Schoolboy Q, Slayer, Action Bronson, Glass Animals, Post Malone, Tory Lanez and Tiësto.

You may already be familiar with this building – it’s known for hosting top premier parties, including for Toronto International Film Festival. Located in the Entertainment District, the 170-year old building encompasses both history and modern Toronto brick and beam design. One can host either a reception or theater style event for up to 200+ guests on each floor.

Known for “style, originality, and elegance” Palais Royale is one of Toronto’s premier event venues. What do we like best about this space? The breathtaking patio which includes a one of a kind view of Lake Ontario. There are several rooms to rent, including the Ballroom, Red Room, Parlour, Courtyard Patio, Lower Lounge and Green Room. We suggest the Ballroom, which holds 880 for a reception style cocktail party. Our team attended Palais Royale’s 10 year anniversary party in June 2016 – and can speak first hand – as to why this posh venue made the list of the best places to hold a corporate event. It was ah-mazing!

21) Capitol Event Theatre

This ‘event theater’ has been restored to its original 1918 magnificence. Located at Yonge and Eglinton, this space is perfect for both large and intimate gatherings. Think modern mixed with old world sophistication; the high ceiling, stage, and ornate interior detailing were maintained from 1918. Capable of seating 1300 patrons, this space includes a balcony and shops on the first-floor level. The space lends itself perfectly to staging and drapery for entertainment. If you are planning a Moulin Rouge themed event, this is your spot!
