Our event staff have been there since the beginning. They’ve seen the joy, frustration, anticipation, and happiness of soccer fans while hosting the FIFA World Cup Viewing Lounge at Toronto Eaton Centre. Our event staff, who are soccer players themselves, have been responsible for the set up and tear down each day of the lounge. Any TV glitches – they got it covered. Any questions – they had the answers. The event staff were there to engage with guests and were responsible for crowd control, because as you can imagine, it got quite busy around the TV.
Our outgoing and knowledgeable event staff have been promoting the CBC FIFA World Cup Viewing Lounge from June 1st, until the very end, July 13 (what a sad, sad day!)
If you had the chance to visit the lounge, you could testify that the set up was incredible! It was family friendly, and children especially, loved it. The crowd was very receptive to this promotion. We actually think some people may have just gone into the mall to watch the game! Either way, it was an amazing event and our event staff were a great team!
