Tigris supplied brand ambassadors to operate Uncle Ben’s National Food Truck Tour. The last stop was at the Canadian National Exhibition August 24th to Sept. 5th.
Throughout the CNE, our team engaged with patrons to generate awareness about Uncle Ben’s Rice and Grain products. In addition, they offered samples of the winning recipes from the Food Truck Challenge activations that occurred on May 25 in Montreal, June 7 in Vancouver and June 9 in Toronto.
Staff were provided an orange branded apron and baseball cap that was worn with their own non‐branded white cotton t‐shirt, black pants and comfortable shoes.
The brand ambassadors were required to greet CNE patrons; explain the consumer experience and winning recipes; hand out samples and vouchers; assist with setup/cleanup. Below are a few consumer testimonials:
- “I never realized all the things you can make with Uncle Ben’s Rice.”
- “The sample of the Toronto winning recipe you just gave me was delicious!”
- “I love that you’re handing out Uncle Ben’s vouchers ‐ I buy it all the time!”
Customers loved the free samples and how they tasted. CNE is a popular destination during the last week of August and first week of September. The large crowds offered increased exposure for the brand.
