The FEAST Summer Street Team Takes on Toronto

Eating out doesn’t have to be a “cheat meal” when you’re ordering from FEAST. Our summer street team is hitting the busy streets of Toronto this summer to promote FEAST, a healthy alternative to meal delivery (with no delivery fee!). Our summer street team are no strangers to FEAST. The dynamic brand ambassadors on the summer team previously represented the brand in a winter promotion (January-March), so they’ve become experts on the brand. Our team will meet up at the FEAST office in Toronto each day (where all the delicious meals are made!) and start as early as 8AM. What better way to spend a summer day in Toronto by riding through the city, promoting meals made from locally sourced ingredients? It’s definitely an easy sell, and our team loves representing a brand that celebrates the environment and local chefs.

Create Your Own Summer Street Team

If you’re interested in creating a summer street team in Toronto, or any other city for that matter (Tigris operates nationwide across Canada) be sure your strategy includes the following elements listed below:

UNIFORMS: The street team needs to stand out from the crowd, and from a first glance, people must automatically know which brand they are representing. This is extremely important, because there are hundreds of people on the street that will see the street team, but the brand ambassadors will only be able to engage with as many as physically possible. To still make an impact on consumers, ensure the team has bright, branded uniforms. Use branded bikes like FEAST, or have the staff carry branded balloons, water bottles, sunglasses, or any other summer promotional item to give away. 

INCENTIVES: Although your product and/or service may be amazing, you need to give a potential consumer an incentive to try the product. Any type of PROMO CODE or discounted offer is a great incentive to get someone to try your product. Once they experience your product first hand, they will become a loyal consumer that is willing to pay the full price. 

PRIME LOCATION: Make sure your street team is activating in an area where your product or service is sold and/or operates. If you’re promoting a store, have the street team promote within a reasonable walking distance. If you only deliver within a specific service area, be sure to only target within that area. It’s all about convenience for the consumer. Taking the time of day into consideration is important as well. The morning rush, lunch time or right after work is the perfect time of day to find a huge rush of pedestrians on the street.
