Creating Invaluable Personnel With The Ontario Job Grant

Crafting A Strong Business Foundation With Invaluable Personnel

We love sharing success tips with our community, and that’s why this blog post will focus on the Canada – Ontario Job Grant. We also believe without a solid foundation, you’ll have trouble creating anything of value. That’s why we take the time to invest in our employees, and love the fact that there is a grant available to build invaluable personnel within your business.

Grants can be tricky and time consuming, but extremely worthwhile – especially this one! Who doesn’t love free money? You may be wondering how this job grant works. If you are an employer with specific workforce skill needs that can be learned or developed through an existing training program, and are looking for funding to train these individuals, this grant can be used to your benefit! The grant can be used towards current employees or new hires.

The government will provide two-thirds of the eligible training costs up to a maximum of $10,000 per individual. The eligible training costs include tuition, textbooks/software, mandatory student fees and examination fees for training specific to digital marketing.

Sounds pretty cool, doesn’t it? Those who are eligible are individual employers and organizations acting on behalf of employers in the private and not-for-profit sectors. There are a few other details and fine print you must read before applying (we don’t want to overload you with information!).

Alli Worthington, co-founder of BlissDom Canada states “Only the people who take learning, growth and skills development into their own hands will be tomorrow’s leaders”. We believe this grant helps us build tomorrow’s leaders within our own company. Our Marketing and HR Coordinator, Nicole Delorme, will be able to reap the benefits of this grant by obtaining her Digital Marketing and Sales Certification Certification by May 2015.

Creating Invaluable Personnel With Training Business Pros & The Ontario Job Grant

Throughout several courses, Nicole will learn the ins and outs of Digital Marketing & Sales – a strategy that uses interactive channels to data mine, build a tribe or community around a brand, service or product and convert leads into sales. She will gain the knowledge and skills required to learn how to drive traffic to a landing page, mine customer data, segment leads, automate communications and create conversions with today’s modern buyer.

Serena Schwab, Tigris CEO, previously took these courses valued at over $20,000 retail (hence why we immensely appreciate this grant!). The courses are taught by Canada’s leading digital marketer, Paul Tobey (you may remember him from The Ultimate Wealth Weekend). Here’s a breakdown of the 4 main courses this certification is comprised of:

  1. Lifecycle Marketing – hypnotic copywriting, email and social media marketing, the art of “Suggestology”, and more.
  2. Digital Marketing and Sales – learn key market research strategies, sales funnel designs and how to read critical metrics.
  3. Online Profit Secrets – learn how to capture a vast array of insights into customer needs and behaviors.
  4. Adwords and Facebook Marketing – learn how to drive qualified traffic to your site

Sounds pretty impressive, doesn’t it? And further, did you know that you may already qualify for a CASH investment from our government? In order to keep things simple and because there are so many grants available to Paul’s company has put together a 3-hour seminar to lead you straight to water. He has also invited Mentorworks to come in and train you on how BUSINESS OWNERS can get a CASH INFUSION. Unlike a loan, a grant is money you do not have to PAY back.

This free 3 hour seminar on how you can get a cash infusion for your business takes place on Jan. 27 from 10am-1pm at 25 Lesmill Rd. Unit D North York. During this seminar, you will learn:
• What funding is available for your business (No you don’t have to spend hours online researching the grants that are available for you)
• The best organizational tools and resources for researching government funding options to serve Canadian businesses both at the federal and provincial levels.
• How government funding programs help small and mid-sized businesses tackle the barriers of financing in order to prosper and achieve growth

If you have employees you think would benefit from these skills, or are interested in taking the course yourself, click here.

In regards to the Ontario Job Grant, you do not have to choose Training Business Pros as a training program for your employees (although they are the one company we can stand behind based on our experiences with them); you can choose one that will be beneficial for your employees. With a team invaluable personnel here at the Tigris head office, we truly appreciate and trust our coworkers whole hardheartedly. Please comment below and let us know if you plan on applying for the Ontario Job Grant, and where you plan to train your employees! We’d love to hear from you.
