Tigris 2012 Events Staff Receive Awards for Strong Performance

Annual Staff Awards for the 2012 Season

This year, we are proud to issue our staff awards to acknowledge exemplary performance from select people from our roster. While we are appreciative of everyone’s individual contributions, we felt that these three people deserved our 2012 staff awards for going over and above the call of duty during the events / programs they worked on.

1st Place Winner of our Events Staff Awards: Lisa Fabjanski from Calgary will receive a $150 pre-paid Visa
Lisa managed our RONA Grand Opening promotions in both Calgary and in Edmonton. This was a logistically challenging program and didn’t come without it’s difficulties – but she handled everything extremely well and went above and beyond to make sure the programs were executed smoothly. She was not booked to manage in Edmonton but stepped up to the plate when our regional account manager fell ill and was unable to work as planned. She literally saved the day and our clients from Terrain Marketing and RONA were ecstatic with the results. She is well deserving of Tigris’ first place and grand prize of our annual staff awards.

2nd Place Winner of our Events Staff Awards: Andy Yu from Vancouver will receive a $125 pre-paid Visa
Andy was recruited and hired to work our Calypso Vodka in-store tasting promotion for Mark Anthony in the spring. He has proven himself to be a consistent top performer and always submits reports on time and in exactly the manner we expect. He jumped in as a team lead for the Viagra promotion at the Pride Parade and also stepped up to manage a Hyundai promotion on short notice. He has been a welcome addition to the team and we’re happy to acknowledge his contributions through our staff awards.

3rd Place Winner of our Events Staff Awards: Hannah Pfendt from Toronto will receive a $100 pre-paid Visa
Hannah began working with us this past spring and has proven herself to be an extremely versatile staff member. She has worked a variety of programs ranging from vendor promotions for Ten Star events, our LCBO sales assist program for Churchill Cellars, Ari Registry Services at the ICAN Show, Wooftown promotions at 3 tradeshows and a special event for bet365.net (to name a few). She is beautiful inside and out and has been continually requested by clients time and time again who love her brandable look and hard working attitude.

Acknowledging Exemplary Performance with our Annual Staff Awards!

While we appreciate the hard work of ALL of those on our event staffing team from coast to coast, we obviously cannot give staff awards to everyone but we would like to thank everyone. Without you, Tigris would not have been able to flourish into the company it is today.

We wish all of you a safe and happy holiday. We look forward to working with you again in 2013 and our 9th season in business. Don’t forget to keep up the great work so you can be considered for one of our staff awards in the new year!

Serena Holmes (formerly Schwab) is the President & CEO of Tigris Incorporated. She is a Broadcast Journalism graduate from Ryerson University. She began working in events in 2000 and started with Tigris as an events staff in 2004, was promoted to management and later accepted partnership. Serena took over operations of the company in 2008. Since that time the roster has tripled and the company continues to grow at a healthy pace. Some keynote clients include Rogers, Motorola, GTAA, CHIN Radio, Appleton Rum and many others.
